Descriptions of my Girls
I have entered both my kids into a local newspapers competition, and I had to write descriptions of them to accompany the images...
GIOIA:
Our gorgeous fair haired Rapunzel loving eldest daughter Gioia (pronounced Joya) is 3 going on 13. She is witty, charming, compassionate and has a most delighful sense of humour. She loves 'fart' jokes and plays air guitar and drums like a Motley Crue member. She is being raised in an English home but attends and Afrikaans playgroup, so she mixes her languages like Schuster movie cast member. She likes to match her shoes to her t-shirts and enjoys dancing along to Lollos, mispronouncing the lyrics of the songs much to our enjoyment.
ISLA:
Little Isla is 8 months old and has been crawling since she was 5.5 months. She has 5 words in her vocabulary and giggles endlessly when her sister teases and tickels her. She has one great big front tooth which she shows off to every passing smiling face and she loves sweet treats and the feeling of grass under her feet. Her favourite activity is tearing pages from her mommy's magazines. Isla enjoys making long distance phone calls to unkown people on her dads blackberry and enjoys a gum rub in the morning and foot rub at night.

Playdate and Prayer
Today was my 3rd Mothersday. We spent the afternoon with fellow moms on our deck, colouring. sticking, dancing and eating little meringues shaped like cupcakes. Barbs and Em joined for the first time now bringing our Playdate and Prayer group to 6 mumsie wumsies and many little girls. Thank you Rusty for the 'Fruits of the Spirit' craft project. See all of you again next month.
Christmas shirts for the Girls
Yes...its only May, but I found this very cute picture of a Christmas shirt and I plan on making two for the chickies and having them wear it in December.
