The leaves are fading in both colour and quantity. They are falling from the branches and now prefer rather to lie at the bottom of our swimming pool, irritating both my husband and Wendell the creepy crawley. I have a new appreciation for the changing of the seasons thanks to our new house and established garden full of trees. The autumn hues of ginger and orange are evident from every bedroom window. Gioia and Liam (and family tag alongs like moms and siblings) spent Saturday afternoon in the park eating ice cream, holding hands and running up the still green grassy embankments. It was such a sunny happy day that they even braved the shallow pool, removing items of clothing one by one as they got wet.
