Clamber Club Day

Gioia has a profound understanding of what day of the week it is.  I wake up some mornings and am not  quite certain of the day, but not the-bean. Her eyes popped open and announced ''clamber club day'', to which I grunted ''indeed''.  Her ability to express herself is growing day by day.  We can now have an indepth discussion with both parties understanding and at least one of us nodding in agreement, the hand gestures are almost a thing of the past.

Last night while visiting Justin and Sharon next door, with the idea of announcing my blog launch, I asked Gioia to tell her avid admirers her surname, as we had been practising, she spouted loudly and with much glee ''naaana''! I had labelled her a banana earlier in the day after our first potty training oopsie on the double bed. I forgot to ask and she forgot to tell.  Since then she has learnt her surname is infact Benade and I have learnt not to label her a fruit.

Pappa Roger joined our merry mommy troop today at the Clamber Clubhouse, and Gioia's long haired maaitjie 'Becca'' performed splendidly for him. These little ones become the ultimate performers, good enough for Mr Wilkies circus, when they know they have their Daddy's undivided attention.

I now have to convice my beautiful sparkle that ice-cream and sand are perhaps not the best combination...even if dipping and licking is our favourite new thing. Thank you for teaching Gioia this Rebecca, we all live to learn!
