Gioia's second 2 birthday party

We celebrated Gioia’s official birthday at Jingle Jangle yesterday afternoon.  Ashley, my personal baker, delighted us with her talents by presenting Gioia with a pink and white button cake and personalised cupcakes.  Gioia wore a festive red and pink outfit and a brooch I made her with her official age on it.  The children sang beautifully for her, again, and Johan joined us via skype to witness the proceedings.  I made little origami hearts for the raspberry floats from scrapbooking paper and the children waited patiently to drink them until after the sing-song.  Reagan thought to taste test Cian’s big toe which resulted in big tears and even bigger apologies from Julie. Once most of the guests had left Rebecca finished off all the left-over floats, all the while smiling like a Cheshire cat. A beautiful sunny afternoon was enjoyed by wonderful friends and frolicking children, who graciously gathered together for a quick group photo before parting. Lena had to wrestle Serine away as too much fun was had by all. Thank you girlfriends! Thank you Rebecca, Serine, Mackenzie, Reagan, Ruben, Cian, Liam and Phillip!
