Learning the Ropes while Gioia naps

This is it...I'm actually doing it! I'm blogging! Gioia is taking her afternoon sleep here by my side on the big bed, we share a pillow at every opportunity. I am on a 'Buying Fast' and thus have time on my hands to try new things.  Filling my time with creative tasks and parenting our beautiful toddler, Gioia, will fill my next 40 days.  I am fasting until the 10th of December.  One day at a time. Will post updates as I battle through.  This blog is mainly meant for my husband, Johan, who works away from home and who we only get to see 52 days a year.  I would love for Gioia to oneday read about her and my adventures, together, in Pretoria East! Mom, as you read this and you discover spelling mistakes, I just want to apologise in advance for them, and Dad, check out this spot for the latest photos of your budding 'Girly''. Potting training Gioia before Johan comes home will also keep us entertained for the next two weeks or so, or however long that takes.
